PLASMA SPRAYING
With the plasma spraying process the coating material in powder form is processed, whereby the powder is melted slightly or fully due to the plasma flame. The powder feed in this process may be internal or external with a pistol. Plasma is produced in an arc, which burns in a gas such as argon, helium, nitrogen, hydrogen or in the mixture of these gases.

A plasma flame with a temperature of up to 20,000 K results. The arc is generated between the electrode and the nozzle (see above: Illustration of the company Linde).
For the plasma spraying in our production we use the models 7MB, 9 MB, F1 and F4 from Sulzer Metco and Plasma Technik / plasma technology (see Illustrations on the left).
With these pistols we process coating materials such as:
|
|
- Oxides: Al2O3 / Cr2O3 / ZrO2 / SiO2 / TiO2 / Y2O3 and others
- Metals: Mo / Al / Ni / Zn / Fe / Si / Ti / Cu / Co / Cr / Wo
- Carbides: WC / Cr3C2 and others
|
In our production cabins the plasma flame spraying process may be:
and carried out with areally and rotationally symmetrical spraying stands.
We are equipped for:
the production of individual parts / small series / large series
Standard dimensions in our production are:
- Maximum length: 5500 mm
- Maximum diameter: 1200 mm
- Maximum unit weight: 3200 Kg
- Areal dimensions: LxW 5000x3000 mm
- Any dimensions going beyond these measurements require special requests.
We also test and develop customer-specific applications and document these in reports, upon request even with a metallurgical analysis.
For each processing or development a customer-specific production schedule is generated. Thus it is guaranteed at any time that the works are always carried out, processed and delivered with a consistent quality for you.
