In addition to the mere coating processes further works are often required, such as quality and performance checks, masking, unmasking, finishing or the application of special packaging.
Quality and performance checks:
Upon request we carry out these checks with evidence for you. To this end, we have got an extensively equipped quality laboratory and we cooperate closely with an independent material testing laboratory. Thus evidence such as micro-sections, salt spray tests, climatic change tests and others may be supplied at any time.
Masking and unmasking:
Masking works are carried out in order to keep areas of the component parts free from coating. For masking works materials are used, which are suitable for the subsequent coating process.
Masking material must be easily applicable, must stand the coating process and must then be removed easily and without residue.
Masking works are always particularly critical in the process of powder coating, for example. Generally, each and every masking, as far as possible, must be avoided. Imperfections in the coating result from the masking.
In the thermal spraying process the masking material is subject to even more strains and stresses than in the powder coating process as the material must be resistant to the influence of the blasting and the thermal influence of the spraying flame, without burning and without leaving residues inside the layer.
Finishing:
After the coating process it is often necessary that component parts are assembled with other components. This may range from simply turning a screw to the entire assembly of lamp carriers to the complete lighting unit, for example.
We can carry out these works.
Furthermore, it is possible that upon agreement we carry out extensive preparatory and after-care works such as pre-turning or grinding. We have got external partners, who carry out works, which we cannot carry out on our premises.
Packaging:
Upon request we pack in nearly any form.
The application of sales packages, transport or mounting packages is guaranteed by our personnel.
