THERMAL SYNTHETIC POWDER COATING
In the thermal synthetic powder coating process the coating powder is applied to the component part with the help of a burner.
For example a propane-oxygen mixture or an acetylene-oxygen mixture functions as burnable gas.
The coating powder is melted in the flame and thrown onto the component part, where it is combined with the component part due to its cooling down.
KEY DATA
Powder:
Mostly, thermo-plastic powder types are used as coating powders. Particular care must be taken regarding good pre-treatment depending on the powder.
Coating dimensions:
- Maximum length: 5500 mm
- Maximum diameter: 1200 mm
- Maximum unit weight: 3200 Kg
- Areal dimensions: LxW 5000x3000 mm
Any dimensions going beyond these measurements require special requests.
Batch sizes:
Individual parts / small series / large series
Industrial and Building Systems:
Spraying robot / manual spraying stand / rotational spraying stand / areal spraying stand
Application example:
The printing industry should be mentioned as one area of application, for example. For example, in the printing machines the colour rollers are coated with this process.
