WIRE FLAME SPRAYING
Shortly after the first powder flame spray devices were developed in the early years of the 20th century, the development was further progressed to process materials in form of wires as coating substances.

The processing principle of these devices was to continuously melt wires from coils or bars and to accelerate the material via a nozzle system with the help of compressed air and to then apply them onto a surface (see Abb. 14. below).

You can see one of the first wire spraying pistols with turbine drive in the Abb. 15. above. Up to now many new and further developed models by various manufacturers followed this first pistol.
For the wire flame spraying in our production we use the models 10E, 11E and 12E with air turbine drive as well as with an electric drive from Sulzer Metco (see Illustrations on the left).
With these pistols we process coating materials such as:
|
|
- Wires for protection against corrosion, e.g. zinc, al etc.
|
The wire flame spraying process may be in our production cabins:
|
|
- manually controlled
- linear-controlled
- robot-controlled
.
|
with areally and rotationally symmetrical spraying stands.
We are equipped for:
the production of individual parts / small series / large series
Standard dimensions in our production are:
- Maximum length: 5500 mm
- Maximum diameter: 1200 mm
- Maximum unit weight: 3200 Kg
- Areal dimensions: LxW 5000x3000 mm
- Any dimensions going beyond these measurements require special requests.
We also test and develop customer-specific applications and document these in reports, upon request even with a metallurgical analysis.
For each processing or development a customer-specific production schedule is generated. Thus it is guaranteed at any time that the works are always carried out, processed and delivered with a consistent quality for you.
